Summary
“Malfoy, we have to slow it down!” Harry yells over the growing racket of the time turner. Harry’s not sure how, exactly, they’re going to do that, but they have to try. Malfoy looks at him wildly, and hesitates for only a second before grabbing his arm.
Harry looks uncomprehendingly at Malfoy’s hand on his arm. “We’ll be stronger together!” Malfoy shouts. Oh. Right. The spell. Harry points his wand at the time turner, along with Malfoy. “Finite Incantatum!”
The time turner only seems to grow stronger. A bright light begins to glow out from the center of the device, reaching its edges over to Harry and Malfoy.
The last thing Harry sees is Malfoy’s worried face, and then darkness.

Summary
Written for the slythindor100 Christmas challenge 2016, traditional prompting.
At first there had been a little hope. But as with all things, nothing can last forever. And with the last of the hope gone, and things starting to spin out of control, all Harry really wanted was his normal life back. Life however had something else in mind. Still Harry will try his best, to hold on to his love, even if it cuts him so deep, that pain itself becomes a part of it.

“For those who are really annoying, this spell can change their minds completely, making them try to think from someone else’s point of view instead of being a smug jerk.” Harry read it out and smiled at Hermione, “That sounds perfect for Malfoy.”
The witch, who was busy with her homework, lifted her head from the books and looked anxiously at the mysterious textbook, “Harry, we don’t know who this ‘Half-Blood Prince’ is. You can’t just use the spell mentioned in it.” She paused, then added, “Stop thinking about Malfoy, Harry. You need to get out of this excessive attention.”
And as it turned out, Hermione Granger was always right.
