Summary
Things in Season 6 are a bit more… agreeable than in the original. At least in terms of how finding Purgatory went down - it was very amiable.
An aimless Dean and a steady angel take up residence in Rufus Turner’s old cabin as the crisis-heavy human attempts to make sense of a life that seemingly no longer has a path.
Gardening, joint hunts, home-cooked meals, and a patiently enthusiastic Castiel help Dean to get on the right track — eventually.

Summary
Dean was the only feline born into a pack of wolves, his mother's clan had feline blood but they were more human than shifter, so Dean was a surprise. His mother loved to take him to the park when she was pregnant with Sammy. One day another feline showed up! A boy named Castiel, and he and Dean became fast friends. Soon enough Cas had to go back to another country and Dean didn't want Cas to forget him so they snuck out to the park on a "mating moon" and had a best friends forever ceremony. They both made a little cut on their palm and swapped blood so that they will never forget each other.
Of course life happens and 20 years later Dean gets a visit from this flouncy feline in a suit telling him he needs to come to Russia immediately. Turns out that little ceremony mated them at a young age, bound by blood under the mating moon, and Cas is the heir to his throne.

Summary
Dean Winchester never planned on throwing a punch outside Ellen’s bar. He definitely didn’t plan on rescuing Castiel Novak, heir to the ruling clan. One fist, one trench coat, and one pair of sapphire eyes later, Dean’s got himself a date with the Alpha everyone whispers about — and the wild hope that maybe this is his chance at something out of this world. (Boldly going where no Omega has gone before.)

Summary
A week after Jack left, he brought Castiel back from the Empty — whole, alive, and standing in front of Dean like nothing had changed, though everything had. Dean’s grateful. Of course he is. But now that Cas is here, really here, Dean is left face-to-face with everything unsaid between them. He knows what Cas confessed before dying, and worse — he knows damn well what he feels in return. But saying it out loud? That’s another story entirely, because there's something broken inside of him.
Dean asks Cas for something no one’s ever asked of him before: to go back in time, to the moment something broke, and stop it from happening. Stop the moment that taught Dean to be afraid of what he wanted most. Stop the moment Dean got broken.
Stop John Winchester.
