Astarion’s hand ghosted along Gale’s bicep, moving to his shoulder. “I’ve been told I have no game tonight. I simply must defend myself.”
“Must you?”
Astarion smiled. “I must.” Snow swirled outside the office windows, reminding Tav others were partying downstairs. So, why couldn't they party stuck in the office?
“We have a project to finish. Come up with a grand plan, and then perhaps I’ll indulge you.”
“Just one kiss. For inspiration.”
Gale turned to face Astarion. Tav was expecting him to snap or push Astarion away. Instead, his eyes dropped to Astarion’s lips.
“There he is. I knew you couldn’t resist—” Astarion didn’t finish the sentence. Because Gale cupped the side of Astarion’s neck, and kissed him.
A modern AU where Gale, Astarion, and Tav fail to impress Withers, their boss. They must work overnight to deliver a project on time. Everyone else in the office is down at the Christmas party. Astarion steals spiked eggnog. Debauchery ensues.
