Summary
When Rodney goes to his sister's house for his niece's birthday party, he didn't expect to meet John Sheppard, let alone fall hard for him. Getting John to cross that line from friendship to dating is a tad harder than he'd thought it would be, but Rodney is a master of getting what he wants. Just ask his students. But what turns out to be infinitely harder is coming to terms with the reality of John's career.
John's had a rough year, with both personal and professional losses leading to a stall in his racing career and the sudden adoption of his niece and nephew.
