Summary
Yamcha has never been good at relationships. Not after Bulma, not after the fights, and definitely not after dying more times than he’d like to think about. These days he fills his time with baseball, training when he can, and pretending he’s fine with how things turned out.
Tien lives quietly on his farm with Chiaotzu, far away from the chaos the rest of their friends seem to attract. Training, working the land, and keeping to himself has always been enough for him.
When Yamcha decides to finally visit the farm after years of putting it off, he expects a few days of training and catching up.
What he doesn’t expect is how easy it feels to stay.
And what he definitely doesn’t expect is realizing that maybe the person who’s always been there for him… might mean more than he ever thought.

Summary
After fusing with Kami and losing Goku, Piccolo is finding himself unwell. Namekians don’t get sick however - but he’s never quite been a typical namekian or earthling...
This isn’t a 1:1 for human depression so please don’t apply everything as a metaphor, some parts are unique to Piccolo/Namekians and exploring some hypotheticals about the character. Since Piccolo has so many abilities, his unique circumstances, he is so characterised as self reliant but also has a long history of negative experiences when really analysed, there's a lot to explore. But, yeah, the bulk of this is akin to battling depression (and some anxiety/symptoms related to his depression).
Not sure if I'll include any non-canon pairings but will see how this develops or if there are any suggestions.

I actually teared up reading this. The portrayal of depression here is just...wow. It hit a little too close to home at times.

With Puar and Chiaotzu away, Yamcha spends a week with Tien on his mountain farm. Things don’t quite go as planned but then again, Yamcha’s used to that by now. What he isn’t used to are things turning out even better than he could have ever dreamed.

THIS WAS FANTASTIC! I'm so glad I decided to check out this ship a little, this was such a wholesome read. I also really liked the headcannon about Yamcha's leg, and Tien only just noticing it's causing him long-term issues, OUGHHH, AMAZING!!!
