Summary
Steve was in no mood for a party. The Christmas cheer had evaded him this year. There was nothing to celebrate.
Robin had moved away last month, he still hated his job at his dad‘s company, despite the promotions, he’d been through one pointless date after another for what seemed like months, and he’d just been dumped.
And then on top of all that, Eddie had gotten himself a boyfriend.

Summary
It was just another night on the job for Steve, driving a limo for Bauman’s company, except it was prom night 1989 and he had a customer named Munson who was chaperoning a bunch of high schoolers around town—to Benny’s and the arcade, to prom at Hawkins High, and to Lovers Lake afterward for s’mores by campfire.
Over the course of the night Steve found himself drawn into the little family, welcomed with open arms. And more and more he was especially drawn to Eddie.
It felt like everything he did now mattered, every move might affect the rest of his life and the direction it went. That’s what his parents said at least, usually when they were disparaging his job and the fact he’d left his dad’s company. And if every move might affect his life, he was interested in moving towards something he actually wanted, like Eddie and the promise of a future outside Hawkins.

Dear Mr. Henderson,
Eddie Munson has had Steve Harrington erased from his memory. Please never mention their relationship again. Thank you.

———————————A startled laugh fell from Eddie’s lips. “Is this some kind of joke?”
Dustin sighed deeply. “I wish. Guess who I have another one for, that came not too long after yours.”

Summary
“Stevie. I’d love to, but it’s… kind of a really bad moment. I mean. I really don’t think you want to be here tonight.”
“Oh, ah, sorry, yeah I can go. I didn’t see Wayne’s truck so I thought…That’s stupid, you could have someone in there. Or- I don’t know, I’m sorry. I’ll go.” Steve turns around to leave, thinking of where else he could go. Maybe Dustin’s, although he cringes at interrupting their Christmas like he did last year.
The expression on Steve’s face is so hurt that Eddie almost jumps in place, like he just burnt his hand or something. The dude looks so sad, like a motherfucking puppy or orphan or something and Eddie feels like he’s Satan for sparing Steve the cruel fate of freezing his balls off. He can’t do it. Besides, he actually would love the company, so he sighs, grabs Steve’s elbow and pulls him back. “Wait, Steve. Fuck. Okay, come here.”
or
Christmas this year is going to suck - Steve is fighting with his parents and Eddie is home alone with the power cut off - so maybe they could come together to warm each other up and make one perfect Christmas.

Summary
Failing another year wasn’t all bad…
Ok, it fucking sucked, who was he kidding?
He’d stayed high as long as it took to get over his ex-boyfriend, Tommy Hagan.
Tommy couldn’t even be his friend apparently. Eddie tried a couple times. He went to parties at Steve Harrington’s house, always seeking Tommy out. He tried to get high with him, offering up free weed.
Eventually he got tired of watching Tommy make out with Carol and buddy up to Steve. Steve was probably his new fuck buddy… Naw, that guy was offensively straight. Steve Harrington and all his feminine conquests.
Still, Eddie thought about messing with Harrington. The guy stared at him. Maybe some light flirting would work or just the right touch, something to give him a hard-on he couldn’t reconcile.
Or:
Eddie is rebounding from a breakup and failing senior year again. Steve is coasting post-high school when Eddie hits on him hard at one of his parties. Steve has never been with a guy. Eddie has never been in love. ‘86 is their year.Playlist https://open.spotify.com/playlist/79DJZeKpTMZYpEO6HtD965?si=CO30Wvn9StiC-Fk475ZuYw

Summary
This summer they were eighteen, part of the graduating class of 1999, on the brink of college, and finally old enough to be hired as full fledged counselors with paychecks and days off and everything.
Not that it paid much, but Steve wasn’t in it for the money. He was in it for the love of the place. Sunset Lake Camp had become a second home to him over the last decade of his life, his real home, and the people there like family.
Robin was mainly in it for Steve, excited at the prospect of getting to spend the entire Summer with him for once instead of the single session, two short weeks, she was used to—all her folks had been able to afford each year growing up.
It was poised to be the best summer of Steve’s life.
Then he met Eddie.

Summary
Steve Harrington hasn’t taken a day off of work in over three years. When his best friend books him an Airbnb for a little rest and relaxation, it sounds too good to be true. He’s proven right when her good intentions land him at a small cabin in the woods, outside of a little town he’s never heard of. His sour mood quickly turns around when he’s charmed by the friendly locals, welcoming atmosphere, and gorgeous blacksmith who lives across the road.
Will he find love in the most unexpected place, or will his work follow him from the city and threaten to ruin the small town that’s starting to feel like home?

Summary
mutualism [myü-chə-wə-ˌli-zəm] · noun
the doctrine that mutual dependence is necessary to social well-being
Eddie Munson has a body that can bend, a body that can break, a body that can piece itself back together over and over again. He can’t help but seek out every thrill his newfound immortality brings, running away from danger no more. And when he first sees Steve again, he knows exactly what he needs from him.
Steve Harrington has a body made of rage, a body made of his father’s temper, a body made of explosives itching for a light. He can’t help but fight and claw his way to what he thinks may be a less lonely world with bloody knuckles and a half-crazed smile. And when he first sees Eddie again, he knows exactly what he wants from him.
Against all odds, they somehow make it work. This is, after all, a love story.

Summary
The man- now unmistakably Eddie Munson- opened his mouth as if to say something, choosing to instead launch himself at Steve. There was a second where Steve thought he was being attacked, knocked off kilter, but then Eddie’s arms were around him, burying his face in Steve’s hair. Half-collapsing beneath the weight, Steve guided them both to the floor, pulling Eddie closer instinctively. He felt thinner than he used to, the skin of his back littered with scars.
“Eddie,” Steve murmured disbelievingly, holding him as he shook like a leaf in Steve’s arms. “You’re not dead.”
Eddie laughed, despite the trembling. He clutched onto Steve’s shirt like a lifeline.
“Yeah,” he managed, voice high and vulnerable. “Sorry to disappoint.”
