Only, it's not their own worst fears. Celine goes to Mira’s, Mira to Zoey’s, Zoey to Rumi's and Rumi to Celine's. This also makes any hope Rumi had of hiding her patterns much harder.

What if Rumi’s dark side couldn’t be hidden when she was young? As her demonic traits grow, Celine must hide her away from the world, protect her, and the next hunters, from each other.
Zoey and Mira aren’t supposed to talk to the mysterious girl who looks after the shrine, no matter how intriguing she is.
Rumi is just as fascinated by the new hunters. She watches them from afar, unable to interact. It isn’t safe. She isn’t safe.

Summary
The aftermath is quiet. When their feet touch back down to the Namsan Tower stage and the bright sunlight cast as they formed new honmoon fades away, night reclaiming Seoul, Rumi doesn't hear the thousands upon thousands of fans surrounding them. She doesn't hear much of anything. She doesn't feel much of anything. It's like her world has narrowed to her hands, and Zoey and Mira's hands clasped in them. But even that feels barely there. She's barely there.
They won. Now they have all the time in the world to pick up the pieces. And for Rumi to learn how to live a life that isn't just waiting to die.
UPDATE: it'll take a bit but we are in fact headed towards Polytrix before this fic ends cuz I NEED IT.

But, he was raised like he should, and it came out when he was really worried. Or angry.
“It is stupid,” she said. “It’s so goddamn stupid. I avoided it at FEDRA because some of the other girls looked like those before models, but…”
