He sensed a presence, but couldn’t recognise who it was. That was all his foggy brain could do and he hated it. He wasn’t sure if he was in Hell or in a bar or the bookshop..

They are mending and building their relationship while adjusting to an ordinary human life.
Crowley needs time to come to terms with what happened after *the kiss* and Aziraphale understands.
However, love quickly takes over and it becomes a nice fluffy domestic story, full of (smitten) love and romance.

Crowley sat down in the empty bus.
Crowley expected Aziraphale to sit behind him, like always. He did not expect Aziraphale to sit next to him and he certainly did not expect Aziraphale to take his hand.
A slight brush of fingertips first, asking an unspoken question of permission. Crowley let his fingers spread in answer and Aziraphale slipped his hand into his, entwining their fingers gently.
