    Summary

But the Force works in mysterious ways, whether it manifests as a gigantic firebird or otherwise. Now, on Tatooine, a couple of years before 'Phantom Menace', she makes her way through a different slave-world in a life chronicled in one-shots.

    The Amavikka worldbuilding fanon is borrowed from the fantastic fialleril. Any mistakes in it are my own.

    Jedi Knight Caleb Dume's mission was supposed to be short, straightforward, and simple.

    So everyone was more than a little surprised when he completely vanished for two years, then showed up at the Jedi Temple one day with a junior member of the Death Watch and a teenage Sith as his new and unofficial found family.

    (The fact that said Death Watch member and Sith are only here because they're determined to kill (1) Caleb and (2) each other has absolutely no bearing on the found family situation. Tough luck, kids. You're here and you're adopted, and you're just gonna have to put the knives down and deal with it.)
