Summary
Many things had been proposed as the agent behind Jeeves’ exceptional acumen, his savoir-faire, his shimmering appearances, his uncanny well of knowledge, his unfailing ability to get anyone anywhere out of any pinch. The potential causes had been posited as follows: a diet heavy in fish, a bedside table full of improving reading, an overabundance of gray matter, aided by a particular protuberance at the back of the head, allowing for more of the soft stuff than anybody else. Not one of these came close to the truth.* The truth was that Reginald Jeeves, the premier gentleman’s personal gentleman, Honor of Ganymede, First Class, of Berkeley Street, London, was, to put it plainly, a devil.
*Except for the bit about the fish.

Summary
Aziraphale and Crowley have lived in London for many, many, many, many years. And they think they've done a really good job of passing as humans. They have not. And when they start showing signs of possibly leaving, with moving boxes and greater-than-usual plant movement, their very human neighbors have concerns.
