He feels Gale relax beneath him, sighing into the pillows as Astarion slips back inside, the tension of trying to hold a position his body is not willing to melting away like sugar upon one's tongue. A kiss, gentle, is pressed to Gale's mussed-up hair. Pale arms wrap around his torso, hold him close; not to restrain but simply to have, to enjoy the softness there, the warmth.
Gods, Gale is so warm.
It can't be helped when Astarion nuzzles into his neck—feline, content, drawn towards his quickened pulse and how sweet his skin feels against lifeless flesh.
