A kiss, gentle, is pressed to Gale's mussed-up hair. Pale arms wrap around his torso, hold him close; not to restrain but simply to have, to enjoy the softness there, the warmth.
Gods, Gale is so warm.
It can't be helped when Astarion nuzzles into his neck—feline, content, drawn towards his quickened pulse and how sweet his skin feels against lifeless flesh.

Summary
Just a short claw-length away, another hermit crab stares back at him. A male. His pheromones drift on the current.
This one is smaller and slimmer, shell so pale it almost seems carved from moonlight. With a body that's translucently white, the faint workings beneath his shell are just barely visible. A pump of blood rushing fast and erratic. Red eyes gleam at Gale, wide and startled.
Along the back of this pale one's carapace runs a thin, healed crack, discolored and jagged like an old fault line in stone. It tells a story of pain, when safety could not be found, when something vast must have crushed down upon this poor crab and ignored his shell.
Or what passes for a shell. Because this hermit crab seems to be in a similar predicament to Gale.

“I’m not his.”
A quiet exhale - had she been afraid of what he would say? An interminable pause as he watches her chest rise and fall, quicker now in spite of her ironclad control.
“I’m yours.”
A groan, this time, and his pulse races with pleasure as she steps back into the cradle of his legs, bare knees against his breeches. She places a hand on either side of his face, tipping him backwards, then waits.
“I need you to take him from me. Please.”
Astarion is tired of looking at the poorly healed bite mark, and wants Tav to take it away.
