This fic does an excellent job of building romance in a series of vignettes featuring embraces. Honestly, I'm just happy these guys get some hugs, but it's all around quite sweet as well. Timeline is mostly post-dragon hunt, but does have some world building history as well.

All of these fics are quick insights into people on the outside of Hollanov and highlights the supportive network they have. Shane's parents are absolute gems here, I really enjoyed David's characterization in particular. The fics are fairly short, but do a good job of setting tones and allowing the reader into the less obvious motivations and thoughts of the characters. -

Adorable. Sweet. Romantic. No one comes off as a possible serial killer, just a couple guys resolving a missed connection. The author does a really nice job with setting up the characterizations without going into too much specific detail, allowing the reader to naturally infer what's going on with them. Cute dates, cute thoughts.

Adorable, 10/10 romance fic. The story hits all the beats of canon, but with a compressed timeline and improved commitment to communication. It's sweet, it has it's break through heart wrenching moments, but it never lingers in angst or uncertainty. Friends are awesome, but out main duo are truly something else. I really appreciated the evolution of The Plan as priorities and situations changed.
