Summary

By the time anyone noticed, Shane had already given up on himself.
Ilya never believed in control to begin with. His world unraveled slower, heavier—until one night, he stopped trying to hold it together at all. When he wakes up in a hospital bed, broken but alive, the only thing he feels is anger that it didn’t work. Ilya has given up on life entirely.
Against both their wishes, they’re sent to a remote rehab center and forced into the same room—two strangers with nothing in common but the ways they’re falling apart.
As the walls between them slowly crack, anger turns into understanding, and silence into something softer. Because maybe, just maybe… you don’t have to want to be saved to start finding a reason to stay.

Summary
Shane Hollander is twenty-three, a student at McGill University's prestigious Physical Therapy program, and a part-time employee at a local, run-of-the-mill coffee shop. After a supposed one-night stand throws him completely off-balance, he finds himself drifting unwittingly towards a man who just might be the literal death of him.
Ilya Rozanov is twenty-nine, heir to the family "business" in America, and currently staving off attacks from both his scheming brother and an annoyingly persistent FBI agent that seems hellbent on throwing the book at him. He is also quickly becoming obsessed with a boy whose very existence may be jeopardized by his presence alone.
Too bad Shane is itching to be released from the ties that bind him to his boring life, no matter the cost. Too bad Ilya is selfish enough to cut him loose.
