“I take it you haven’t heard from my maker?” He asked, both out loud and on the vampire radio frequency. “Fucking asshole.” He muttered under his breath for good measure, still sore about how Armand had just upped and left him.
“I’m sorry you were burdened out of spite.”
Not quite out of spite, but Daniel didn’t say anything. Let Louis think what he wanted of Armand - the less those two had to do with each other, the better. Still, Daniel had hoped that the book tour would have drawn some kind of reaction.

Summary

What he hadn’t got through his head yet, was that Daniel didn’t give a shit about any of that.
What drew him in, were the hints of real messiness Rashid let pass through the cracks unaware - that was what fascinated Daniel.

Before the Cleveland Street Scandal of 1889, Armand and Lestat visit a London rent boy. They disagree about what he needs, what they want from each other, and Armand's true nature. TL;DR: Armand is a top and Lestat gets him to admit it.
Everything follows the chronology of the first two seasons of the show. This means that in the timeline of the story, which starts in 1888, Armand and Lestat haven't met Louis. It imagines that Lestat didn't spend all of the nineteenth century underground. The fact that he did makes me sad, since I'm a historian of that period. If he'd been awake in the 1880s and bumped into Armand, I think he'd have been like this.

Summary
At the entrance, straight and symmetrically framed by the wide door, like a statue of a minor god between columns in a Greek temple, stands a man wearing beige linen, leather shoes and a serene and impenetrable smile on his lips. His long blond hair is tied back, and, upon seeing Armand, he opens his arms in a welcoming gesture.
“I have been waiting for you, Amadeo.”
OR: Armand finds out Marius is alive and goes back to him. However, things do not feel the same anymore.

“Maybe I’ll join you.”
Rashid’s eyes grow wide. Or, well, wider. Kid’s got doll eyes on an average day. Daniel swears he hears his breath hitch and something inside of him is set aflame.
“I don’t think that’s wise, Mr. Molloy.”
With a nonchalance he doesn’t truly feel, Daniel shrugs and begins to take his clothes off.

Summary
Armand was aware that he often lost time.
It was better now than it had once been.
On the slave ship, in the brothel, when he was in Marius’ care.
He had never questioned why it happened or what caused it. He knew enough of the modern era to know that an answer was likely out there somewhere, but what good would such a thing do him?
Waking up in an unfamiliar bed in an apartment that seemed only vaguely familiar was all the more disconcerting for how long it had been since it had happened to Armand.
He tried to orient himself. He needed to put just enough of the pieces together to know enough to fake his way through his next few interactions and then it would be as if it never happened.
