Summary
Apollo failing at completing his duties allowed Python to reassert his claim over Delphi to begin with. It made sense Apollo would have to clean up his own mess. This was simply another trial he’d have to pass if he wished to be a god again. No one could fault me for not interfering in his struggles – the Fates themselves had decreed that he’d have to be the one to retake Delphi.
If he actually succeeded at doing so, then surely he would have been appropriately humbled by then. The Fates would not allow him to reclaim godhood unless he’d demonstrated sufficient deference towards those above him and a commitment to fulfilling his duties.
This was just another way the Fates had arranged for Apollo to be tested.
---The Council watches the final Trials of Apollo book. Zeus is deep in denial, Artemis is ALSO in denial but for a different reason, and Demeter does not like Lu.

Summary
This might be the last story I ever tell. Definitely the last story I will ever type on this laptop, as I plan to chuck this cursed device into the nearest pool of acid the very second I send this draft to Calliope for proofreads and erase this whole episode from my memory. Hermes said it would do nothing to destroy any of the actual content on it, as everything is “stored in the Cloud” nowadays, but go for it man, get it out of your system. Lately, everybody’s been telling me to go for it man, get it out of your system. They’ve also been walking on eggshells and keep giving me their therapists’ contact information.
Wow, Apollo, you may be wondering. What is this tale about? Can it really be more traumatic than your six month road trip across America, bound to a pipsqueak slave-master and fighting off such distinguished enemies as real estate tycoons, giant snakes, horse-fuckers, the specters of all your past regrets and/or mistakes, fungal acne and your toxic ex?
Yes. It can. You can stop trying to hide your glee, reader.
Apollo thought his trials were over. Well, Apollo thought wrong.

“You’re the reason I had him, okay?!”
I freeze.
“I thought that if I did a decent job raising him there was a chance he was gonna end up like you!!”
I turn around to face him my breath caught in my throat.
“And that thought got me excited because you are a wonderful person and I like being around you!!!” He yells, and the pure desperation in his voice hurts.

Summary
Tim Drake, the usually reserved and private Robin, had never been one to flaunt his relationships. He kept his personal life locked away, only sharing it with his closest hero friends and fellow Bats - and even then there was a limit to how much he'd be willing to share. But all of that changed when Bernard entered the picture.
English is not my first language.

Summary
For a second, Jon thought of all the arguments Dad and Conner had had over the years, about the other person in their relationship and their plans for Conner, about recklessness, or when they spoke in a language that Jon couldn't ever hope to understand slightly too quickly and in hushed tones that contrasted their usual screams. The way Conner talked, Jon knew he was thinking about these numerous arguments, about Dad's 'other side'. And maybe for the first time, Jon wondered what his parents, his family, maybe all the adults in his life were hiding from him.

The Battle of the Supersons doesn't discuss how Jon was surrounded by people who knew about Superman and literally couldn't discuss it with him. The clues were there.Bookmarked by OtisLocusyou
