He fidgets with his favourite volleyball keychain until it breaks in the locker room. Tendou notices what's happened before anyone else and takes immediate action: this is that action.
Or: the one in which Tendou takes care of a very upset Ushijima.

Tendou glances at him, checking him over quickly before looking away, deciding to focus on Semi’s pink star-shaped glasses on the far bench. Ushijima’s head had been tilted towards his chest, mouth actively chewing on the side of his hand as he rocked. His other hand had made its way into his hair now, switching between clutching it and tugging almost desperately.
He didn’t need Tendou to ask him if he was okay. He knew he wasn’t.
