The girl squeaks out an ‘okay’ and reaches for her wallet. She digs around the protruding receipts and jingling coins, and after another awkward minute of silence triumphantly brandishes her blue UConn ID.
Or what she thought was her UConn ID.
“Yeah, unless your name is either Dave and/or Buster, I don’t think you meant to give me this.”
The look on the other girl’s face is one of pure devastation."
