Summary
Every Sunday Killua, Gon, Leorio and Kurapika meet up to play "Dungeon x Hunter" (loosely based on DnD 5e) with Leorio as Dungeon Master. Why is Leorio the DM, you ask? Well, these nerds all met at the college roleplaying club two years ago, but recently, with Kurapika in law school and Leorio in med school, and Killua and Gon taking harder undergrad classes, no one has time to meet up anymore. Therefore, Leorio has taken it upon himself to DM their sessions, just as an excuse to get everyone together once a week.
Alluka, also a college student, is staying with Killua during the Christmas Break. Having heard about these Sunday roleplaying sessions from Killua, and especially about the antics of a chaotic multiclass druid/barbarian who keeps adopting all the animals (Gon duh), she asks if she can come along. The crew welcome Alluka into the nerd fold as romance gradually blossoms between Gon and Killua, and Leorio fights to keep Kurapika from ghosting them all as a stress response to lawschool deadlines.
Basically a heartwarming slice of life story about nerds playing Dungeons and Dragons. I'll be updating Wednesdays and Sundays until all the chapters are posted.

Summary
As a first year med student, Leorio didn’t have a whole lot of free time. He spent a great deal of his time studying, working, and taking care of his two high school roommates. For a pretty busy guy, he didn’t have much of a social presence on campus and beyond one friend from his undergrad he spent all his time with his roommates. Nothing remarkable ever really happened in his life. Nothing until a certain superhero had crash landed in his messy apartment room in need of help.

Alluka knows full well that her brother would never call Gon ‘svet moyego serdtsa’ to his face if the boy had even an inkling of what the words meant.
It’s both amusing and frustrating. They’re both so obviously head-over-heels for each another and yet they continue to dance around the root of it all, always toeing the line that separates friends from lovers (a line that’s already sufficiently blurred), hearts still bruised tender by the past. She hopes that this fresh start will allow them to finally take that final step towards being happy together.

“Killua.”
It’s a voice like windchimes and early morning bird calls. It’s a voice Killua has never heard before, and at the same time, the voice of someone he’s known all his life.
“It’s okay, Killua. Don’t try to get up. I’m here, so you’re going to be alright."
And before Killua can even summon the strength to respond, he’s scooped up into warm arms and held tight.
Killua has been dragged and shoved and thrown, restrained and confined and shackled, but he’s never been cradled like something precious and carried. “I’m here, so you’re going to be alright.” Despite all the evidence to the contrary, despite how no one has ever come to save him and no one ever will, he finds himself half-believing that promise already.
“Who are you?” Killua murmurs, hardly above a whisper.
The stranger holds Killua just a bit tighter.
“I’m your guardian angel.”
In which Gon is an angel, Killua is his ward, and Killua will do anything to see his one and only friend, no matter the cost.
