Summary
A collection of statements regarding the group of entities collectively known as the Mighty Nein. Audio recording by Jonathan Sims; the Archivist.
Statement begins.
Or: Between the emergence of eight new avatars, the apparent uselessness of his office door lock, and an unpleasant headache that's only getting worse with every statement he reads concerning the aforementioned group, Jonathan Sims is really not having a great time.

Caleb has a plethora of uses for polymorph outside of combat. Sometimes he uses it to avoid things he can’t face; sometimes he uses it to face things he can’t avoid; and sometimes, just sometimes, he uses it to go a little apeshit.
Or, five times Caleb used polymorph to get around his problems, and one time he used it to solve them.

Summary
There had been rumours about his and Caleb's sordid love affair since long before it was technically true. Essek was simply... playing into them a little, to help his defection go a little more smoothly. Rosohna would gossip about it for a few months, and then the rumour mill would move on, as it always does.
(it doesn't).Or: how Essek and Caleb accidentally inspired (at least) a few dozen smut novels.

Summary
A professor contemplates her legacy and choices. Professor Caleb Widogast makes a new ally.
It felt like she saw him everywhere after that, or perhaps it was just that whenever she saw him, she felt that old ache of guilt and so she noticed their every encounter all the more. They maintained a certain distance—a cordial nod, a brief hello—for most of the semester. Every time, she wondered if he remembered her. Was she supposed to acknowledge it first? Or perhaps he hoped she wouldn’t, and they would simply move on; pretend that she hadn’t seen when Master Ikithon plucked certain students from their classes for special excursions—pretend she didn’t know what they became—what he made them into.
