Summary
Sora thought that everything would be over once he finally released Kairi’s heart. As long as Kairi got to live and the princesses were free, then he was fine fading into darkness. Little did he know that it was only the start of a new adventure that would turn out to be bigger than he ever could have imagined.
Meanwhile, Riku was able to break free of Ansem’s darkness thanks to the light in Kairi’s heart, but for how long? Kairi knows that he would do anything to atone for his mistakes, but she only wishes the best for her friend, especially when Sora seems to have perished without a sign of a revival. They only have each other left, after all.

Everything was going pretty smoothly the night of the heist. Hakuba was chasing KID to the roof (as usual), there was a full moon outside (that was pretty common too), and of course, there were those snipers that had just shot at them.
...Wait.
AKA KID's favorite detective is Kudo (he likes to think it's a secret but the more heists Kudo participates in, the more obvious it becomes), Shinichi is wondering how he got into this mess (at least he can have some fun with it while he's here), and poor Hakuba is left thinking he has the answers (spoiler alert: he doesn't).

You did it for the sake of exploring, for adventure, for the adrenaline that will always run through your veins and make your blood rush through your ears as you nearly fall through a giant pit, as you almost take one too many hits from the skeleton, as you fall in lava but are quick enough to drink the fire resistance potion before you can truly feel the burns on your skin.
