Azula is perfect, there's nothing she can't accomplish. She conquered Ba Sing Se, ended the 100 Year War, slayed the Avatar; brought up to be the ideal weapon, a blade wielded by the Fire Nation to dominate the world and share the glory of their empire. Nothing can stop her. However, there's only one thing she can't do: accept defeat.

Azula pushes Zuko off the roof. Things change.
"She offered her prayers and thanks to the gods, particularly whichever one had decided to take mercy on her brother’s fall. She felt a breeze brush past her bangs, one that sounded like a sigh, and thanked them more fervently. She hesitated, then continued with the request that had been resting heavily upon her heart.
“Please let Mother keep loving me. Please let Zuko keep loving me,” she whispered, not sure who she was asking anymore.
She did not bother asking for her father’s love."

Summary
After Suki finds Appa, she is captured by Azula. The princess keeps the Kyoshi warrior on her ship before conquering Ba Sing Se and the two realise there's something starting to develop between them. This story will focus on Azula and Suki's eventual relationship and will skip through events that don't have any impact on it. Azula will also replace Zuko in joining team Avatar, so I'll just write about what would be different while skipping things in the show that would not change that much.

Summary
When Azula fell to Katara after the Agni Kai, she thought her life was over. Four years later her fate is finally decided and she is sentenced to die. Only she doesn't. Instead, she wakes up in the body of her eleven-year-old self. Learning from her past mistakes, she will do better for herself, but more importantly, her nation.
