Summary
In chapter 12 of Calamity Interlopers (an SMBZ x Amphibia crossover fic by Protogoji_02), Bowser has kidnapped Princess Peach during the heroes’ search for the Chaos Emeralds, prompting Mario and his close allies to rescue her. This also raised tensions between Sonic and Shadow, who argued that stopping Mecha Sonic is more important than saving the princess.
However, in this version, the hedgehogs’ dispute escalates, leading to a far unpleasant outcome than the original falling-out... 😬

Including that night when he talked his wife into letting Anne sleep in until a little after the Plantars arrived. And when they did arrive the next morning, he told them that Marcy would be visiting.
And oh, did the Plantars know her well.
