Summary
Percy had agreed to spend the summer in Atlantis. His mother had been rather persuasive about it, and the growing tensions between him and Annabeth had convinced him that getting away from dry land and taking a step back would do him a world of good.
He had simply forgotten that he had never spent more than two days in a row in Atlantis and that, as a result, he knew nothing about its customs and traditions.
Not to mention that his father would probably see this as an opportunity to convince him to stay, this time for good.

A few warnings before you read, I'm mainly basing this on the timeline of the books, not the series. Because of this, Percy is now legal, Annabeth is working on architectural plans for Olympus, and I intended to focus on the undersea family. There is absolutely no Annabeth bashing in this story !

“Eat, keep warm, I’ll see you in a few days.” His voice was deep and growly and Tommy shivered and nodded. Techno stalked out and it took a full five minutes for Tommy to get himself to move again.
His chest ached, his instincts screaming that he had upset his protector but he shoved them away, Techno was not his protector. The rest of his shift was hell, his instincts wouldn’t settle and he switched between wanting to hunt down Techno to apologize and running away forever. Eventually he was able to go home and he collapsed onto his mattress and cried himself to sleep.or
Tommy is a Piglin without a sounder struggling to survive on his own, Techno finds him one evening and decides his sounder could use a feral child.

Summary
Autumn is ending; Tommy is a summer.
When Wilbur had fled with the boy into the human realm, it had been spring. He hadn't considered the winter. Yet, as autumn leaves fall more and more every passing day, Tommy grows sicker and sicker. There is nothing a human can do for him.
But, to return the summer child to the fae, Wilbur will have to return to the fae. Wilbur may not know everything about how the fae work, but he knows very well how they treat humans who trespass into their territory. He'll be lucky if he dies.

Buttercup was the first, back when the Witchers formed as a single order. With rich, chestnut hair, and almost inhumanely blue eyes, he strode up to Morgraig carrying a lyre and a willpower strong enough to topple empires.
