Sansa’s carriage never made it to White Harbor. Masked men, the raven said. Robbers. Riding out to bring her back home, Jon lambasts himself the whole way. If it weren’t for him, she’d still be at home, safe and sound.
If life were a song, all would be well once Jon saves her. She’d call him her hero, fall helplessly in love with him, and even marry him. But Jon knows life isn’t a song. On their way back they’ll have to talk—truly talk—or he might lose her forever.
Trapped in yet another cage, Sansa lets her head return to the clouds she abandoned long ago. But she knows life isn’t a song. She’s not a stolen maiden and the hero who'll save her is not her love. Pretending helps her face another day, that's all. If only her stupid dreams hadn't painted her hero with Jon's face and Jon's voice and Jon's body. It's why she's so nervous when they have to huddle for warmth on their long way home. There's no other reason. None whatsoever.
Another one set after s8, in a timeline where Jon wasn’t exiled but returned home and resumed ruling the North.

He remains quiet, but his silences change – harden, in a way she can't explain. He loses his baby fat and then he's all sharp edges. His eyes start to look like they're hiding secrets and sometimes it reminds her so forcefully of her father. It reminds her how Robb has changed, grown distant.
He stops telling her things, starts closing off. She wants to tell him that she has more room in her heart, she can fit more of his secrets inside her, but she doesn't. Whenever she presses, he leaves.

In the dark and honest part of her that Sansa is no longer afraid of, she had thought that Jon would die, and she was no sadder than she was relieved. In the months that she ruled Winterfell while the great war of men and wights waged around them, she felt herself growing into her power, sinking her roots back deep into the Northern soil. She enjoyed it, ruling. She was good at it. And at night, she had a wide bed and a door that locked and she was never cold. If Jon died in the war, she would miss him like she missed Robb and Rickon and Bran. She wouldn’t miss her husband.
Seeing him now, she notes the absence of the relief and joy that marked her first glimpse of him at Castle Black. Instead, she feels a too-familiar grief: my brother is gone.

'Did I?' Sansa asked in mockery, ignoring the irongrip, she had felt worse. 'The difference between us isn't big, Aegon. It's simply that while I tamed my demons, yours tamed you and-' her words were cut off by his lips in a bruising kiss that stole their breaths away.
The North and the Six Kingdoms struggle to cope with the consequences of the past. Two young Wolves try to rule over the ashes and ruins of what the kingdoms have become. Bran the Broken is dead, Sansa Stark reaches King's Landing for the passing of her brother and another Great Council assembled. Only for it to be destroyed by the arrival of the last Targaryen and his dragon, a man changed with his identity embraced.
Aegon Targaryen returns and he's ready to claim what is rightfully his, taken and changed by Bran and Sansa Stark. The Queen in the North didn't bend in front of her abusers and captors, she didn't break for the Dragon Queen or the Dead. The Lone Wolf wouldn't bend before the last Dragon, no matter how fast her heart beaten every time he neared her, his presence so different, yet so familiar.- Language:
