Summary
“I just don’t see why anyone would choose to live in a place without a bathroom,” Tommy shrugged. “But I guess you’re just weird.”
“I’m not weird! There are a lot of people who like living on the road,” Wilbur told him, furrowing his brows.
Tommy snorted. “Keep telling yourself that, bud. But I know you miss your shitter.”
Wilbur once again sighed. “Is this just what all our conversations are gonna be about? You harassing me over the fact that I don’t have a toilet?”
Suddenly, Tommy brightened up, as if he’d just remembered something. “As fun as that is, I actually have something to ask you.”
“What is it?” Wilbur asked, narrowing his eyes.
A hopeful smile spread across Tommy’s face. “Can you teach me how to play guitar?”
or, Wilbur agrees to teach a random kid how to play guitar, and ends up getting a little brother in the process.

Summary
Jaded, lonely, and feeling trapped in the life of a hero, Wilbur Soot is just about ready to give up on humanity.
That is- until he meets Tommy, a bright, loud teenager who makes it the tiniest bit easier to breathe.
Bored as hell and shouldering the burden of protecting his district on his own, Tommy Innit is just looking for someone to lean on.
That is- until he meets Wilbur, a clingy, tall bastard (in his most humble, personal opinion) who makes life the tiniest bit less lonely.
And even as things begin to heat up within the outer districts, drawing both heroes and the city’s newest vigilante to the scene, Wilbur and Tommy have each other.
And they wouldn’t give it up for anything.
But then again...some good things just aren’t meant to last, are they?

Summary
Stepping out of the shower and reaching for the towel, Tommy felt better than he had in months. Sure, he was stiff all over and Dream was almost certainly hunting him down, but he had a full stomach, warm clothes, and was clean.
The clothes were definitely too big for Tommy, even if he hadn’t been starved by Dream. Techno was enormous, and it showed in the way Tommy was almost swimming in his clothing. Still, he dried his hair as best as he could and headed downstairs.
Techno turned around as he heard Tommy coming down the stairs, ready to tease him.
“So, how much do you smell now-” He set his eyes on Tommy, and saw gold.

Summary
“I don’t get this, you know.”
Technoblade arched his brow as he wound the boxing wraps around Tommy’s knuckles. The teenager’s hands were textured strangely under Technoblade’s fingers, stretches of burn scars pockmarking the skin. They trembled involuntarily.
Tommy continued: “I’m not supposed to hit people. Sam’s been getting on my ass about it for years. Now all of a sudden, he wants me to? Wants me to get better at it, even?”
Technoblade suppressed his huff of laughter. He didn’t need this kid thinking he found him at all amusing. “That’s not why you’re here.”
“Right,” Tommy drawled, tilting his head up to fix Technoblade with a squint-eyed look. With his blonde curls and blue eyes, the kid looked positively angelic. That illusion was shattered the moment he opened his mouth. “I’m here to learn discipline. Get some aggression out. Become a decent fucking member of society.”
“Can’t help you with that last one,” Technoblade said honestly.
Or, thanks to an act of persuasion by an old friend, Technoblade finds himself teaching a teenager with a troubled past how to box. Together, they carve out a future, though not without a few bloody noses along the way.

Summary
Tommy was handed a small flyer in printed in black and white, with the words “POETRY NIGHT - OPEN MIC” splayed across the front in bubbled font. He fumbled with his binder as he took it, eyes wide as he said, “are you sure? I mean, I love poetry and all, but I don’t think-I’m not sure—what if I can’t write poetry?”
Mr. Sam’s dark eyes softened, and he reached out to place a hand on Tommy’s shoulder, squeezing it gently. “Everyone has to start somewhere; every poet, from me to Rudy Francisco, started off without knowing a clue about what we were doing. Tommy, it’s not about if you can or cannot write poetry, it’s about if you want to.”
