A struggling voice actor is thrilled when he's informed that the hit show he's had six whole lines in will feature his character in the upcoming season. Until its pointed out to him that means working with the show's gorgeous lead, that is. Then the thrill turns into something a little different.
Still thrilling, though.Y'all, seriously, this is crack. But I love it. But I will not play it seriously. That would take away half the fun.

Summary
I have so many ideas about my personal post-canon universe, and not all of them are going to fit into the flow of Wait for Me To Come Home. And so I am taking a page from some of the authors I read and plopping all the rejected scenes, questionably canon bits, and extras that just don't fit into the main story here.

I wanted a cosy but exciting winter story, so I decided to write about Viktuuri as arctic explorers. I was slightly inspired by His Dark Materials trilogy in terms of scholar/explorers and the magical arctic setting, but this is a wholly separate AU and doesn't have any other HDM elements except for daemons.

Victor Nikiforov turned gold at his third Olympic Ceremony in 1998. Yuuri Katsuki is twenty-seven, a skating legend, and freshly retired from the sport that was his everything. The ice was his lover, and now that he can no longer skate, he has no purpose. His whole career had been based off the hope that one day, he would get the chance to skate alongside Victor once he was awakened. Yuuri was still growing, and Victor was still gold. He had to move on.
Maybe it’s for the better. Yuuri was never special enough to touch him in the first place, much less be his soulmate.

He's into guys. Specifically one chocolate eyed, black haired guy.
A guy who claims to be an introvert but chooses the most showy interests ever.
A guy he wishes he could parade around for the world to see, but has to hide the ring that hangs on his necklace to protect.It doesn't help that, in certain spaces on the internet, his guy has made a name for himself too.
Maybe not as big as Viktor, but big enough for it to become a problem.
How will they deal with the fact that their love is becoming too big for the britches it's hiding under?
