Perception is a useful skill, Jack always believed. When a new hunter joins their ranks, Jack doesn't think much of it. Soon, the manor starts to change in ways that none could have deduced. Jack finds himself and this new comrade in the middle of the storm with his very own memories against him. However muddy his mind may get, Jack wants to trust his own perception of this world and his comrades, even if they can't truly trust him.
However, desperation is a tricky fickle thing. It never really sits still. It can make even your closest ones do things you never thought they were capable of. Trust takes a toll.
