Summary
The wildfire virus does not just infect mankind with zombieism, it changes them. When animalistic dynamics take over, the post-apocalyptic communities band together to form a population boosting movement that takes advantage of their new biology. It is imperative to pair alphas, betas, and omegas together, to return to a more normal population size.
Daryl Dixon finds himself in the program, despite his intense reluctance. He is placed in a matching facility while awaiting being paired with his soul mate. Though lacking romance, those in charge want to expedite the process as the population has been decimated. Except Daryl cannot help but lie and claim on his intake exam that he is straight.
While waiting to be paired he meets Adrian, another beta male who is handsome, muscular, sweet, and cheerful. In a way, Adrian is everything Daryl would have never let himself want and more.
Except all Daryl wants is to mate and run, while Adrian dreams of a great romance. Not that it ought to matter since they are both betas. So why is it when Daryl finally feels something, that it is for Adrian?
Can two betas find a way to be together in this slapdash, undead world?
