Drury woke up to the sound of an explosion echoing from across town, although it originated from the north side it still shook his apartment building. The sound of car alarms and barking dogs filled the once quiet streets. This cacophony of noise was added onto with a notification from his phone.Several notifications.

There was a little frown playing on Robin’s face, making him look a little too much like Bruce. “I have made the optimal route for us to explore the zoo. It would not be acceptable to miss any of the essential landmarks."“Yah, little D. We'll do whatever you want in our free time. But first we gotta stick with the class. Mr. Gibson has an itinerary that we need to follow.” Duke checked his watch. When would they at least get on the freaking bus.
“Yes. Well. I looked at the itinerary and it looks like it was made by someone extremely incompetent–”

Clark flinched back instinctively. His body pulsed with phantom pains from memories of Kryptonite induced black veins. It had been the kind of pain that burrowed into your bones. Something that didn't let go. It had also been the first time Clark had experienced pain. Real pain. Clark licked his lips, swiping at the metallic tang from his bleeding mouth.Lex wouldn't do that again, would he? They'd supposedly reached an understanding but Clark didn't put it past Lex to bend his promises.
He shivered. No, he shouldn't want Lex to break this promise.

His arch nemesis is the Joke(ste)r, a former comedian turned vigilante who fights crime with gag-themed props and SHEER AWESOME.

Anyway, that’s how he has a physiological four year-old on his lap when he hears the news about Superman coming back to life and fistfighting an evil cyborg with his own face about it, because of course the man didn’t have the decency to just stay dead. Why would he, after all?
