Summary
Inspired by an AU prompt from Twitter user Tiger21.
Zoey is struggling. Work sucks, life is a constant drag, and even her hobby as a streamer feels more like work than fun at times. One of her only real comforts is her favourite artist, Rumi, seems to be moving into a new era, one Zoey is excited to follow. So, when a chatter starts to help with her cash flow problems, maybe a little give and take is fair play? When her friend Mira comes back into her life, and with this new bit of fun on the horizon, maybe things are starting to look up?
Rumi is finally free. After years of struggling under the light and airy image the studio had chained her to, her contract is over, and she can make the music she wants, do the things she wants, and she can stop putting on the performance. When one of her only real outlets, a small streamer who seems to be a fan that she has found herself watching time and time again, admits to having money problems, she doesn't think twice about throwing cash at the issue. When it starts to become more than that, she starts to hope that maybe this new chapter in her life will have some new characters too.

“Weirder than suggesting getting Rumi chew toys? For dogs?” She questions.
“Well. Yeah. All things considered that one was actually a good suggestion,” Rumi huffs in disagreement. Mira strokes her hair, slightly pulling her back trying to say down, at the feeling of air puffing against her stomach. “Dogs' teeth. Babies' teeth. They get stuff to chew on. It makes sense. I mean it’s not like— horrible. But definitely a bit weird to suggest so you know—”
“Oh my god, Zo. Just out with it already.”
Rumi groans in agreement.
“Okay, okay.” Zoey pauses for a moment, face scrunching up slightly in that cute way that makes them want to kiss her, trying to figure out the best way to word what she was going to say next.
“We could try giving Rumi a gum massage. You know. On her fangs.”
No one speaks after that little revelation. They’re all quiet, taking in Zoey’s words.
OR
The Rumi teething fic where Zoey is a freak and licks her fangs and Mira is supportive and also a freak and licks her fangs. And then they have a quickie about it.

Summary
Her heart breaks all over again as the revelation leaves her shaking. Breaths coming in gasps as sobs wracked her body and the smaller alpha began hyperventilating. Her once sweet scent turned stale, nearly rotten with distress and mourning.
“I miss her.”
Zoey's nails dug deeper into her back.
“I want her back.”
Choked sobs and hiccuping gasps escape her as her small frame shakes.
“It hurts.”
Throat tight, she cried and cried and cried.
“I can't do this anymore.”

Alpha Mira and Zoey deal with the loss of their omega after they cut her off from their soul and pack bonds backstage after the Takedown incident. Rumi moves out of the penthouse to one of the lower floors and they don't see her for a month. Until they do.
