Apparently someone had looked at the old building and thought it was the perfect place to shove a bunch of mentally ill people once a week. He checked his email to make sure it was the right place. Yep. Zooble had even left him a nice note at the end.

As a result, he ended up creating the Amazing Digital Kingdom, where any human unfortunate to arrive there is made a member of the kingdom's royal court.
