A boy almost identical to Lee walks up and Lee gives him a pep talk. That's his son? That's HIS son! Lee gives him a nice guy pose before preparing to start the tournament. God, he was like Guy copy and pasted, and then copy and pasted again onto Metal.

Lee was upset.
They had an argument earlier that day and if the tension in the room wasn't a telltale sign, the silence was.
A few days ago they had found out Gaara was pregnant, and since then they'd been arguing everyday. Lee wanted Gaara to move to Konoha, Gaara wanted Lee to move to Suna, and both of their responsibilities prevented them from doing either. Gaara had to admit, this was a mistake. A really bad fucking mistake. If he could get rid of it, he would. They've only known about the baby for a few days and it's already causing problems.
