“Oh,” Ruth says, her cheeks rosy from the night air. “Well, I’m glad I could be your first.”
“Yup, you really popped my cherry on that one,” Max says, instantly regretting it. For the first time in his life, he starts to consider moving to Clivesdale. He stutters and flounders for a couple of seconds. Luckily, Kyle and Jason come up behind him and pull him onto their shoulders.
