“You’re ridiculous.” Langa may have been chiding him but it came out just as fondly as he meant it. He loved Reki's mischief. And both of them knew it. His own features gave him away. His long and heavy tail was curling itself around Reki's leg and his rounded ears were pricked forward.
Reki just smiled. All bright and cute.
“Fetch your collar.”
Reki's excitement was obvious in the way he scrambled off of the bed in a flurry of red. In the light of the morning, his very fluffy, wagging tail and his messy hair nearly hiding his pointed ears almost looked like flames. Suiting his fiery attitude, as he turned with the collar in his hands despite knowing the rules.
Reki may be mischievous, waking Langa up with bites, but once he's getting what he wants- he's a good boy.
