Summary
"So, hear me out, Kris. We know the Knight's holed up in the Shelter, right?"
They nod.
"But they can't just do everything in there. They've gotta leave at some point and make the fountains." Her expression darkens, before a more sinister grin tilts her lip. "So why don't we just... wait? Just sit right out the door, 'til they come out. Then- WHAM! We clobber them." Then, as quickly as it came, the shadow left, Susie grinning brightly as she pointed at the baseball bats. "That's what these are for. No better smashing tool than a baseball bat."
---
Kris and Susie camp out in front of the shelter.

Summary
"Quietly, she walks underneath the boughs of the old pine, the green giant in the village's center, the one she remembers holding small tea parties beneath. Long ago, she'd sip sweet juice underneath shade from sunlight, the blanket creased and ruffled amongst it's many colorful squares. The root she used to sit underneath is still there, buried underneath the cold it was, the drifting white snow that piled on her shoulders and her wool-knit cap. She still remembers as she brushes the snow off and touches the wood, and a feeling opposite from warmth spreads through her heart."
(Gummy finds her way home.)

Summary
"Maybe it's a silly thought. Ralsei knows what water feels like, of course. Not quite like the Darkners' magic, but he's drank tea before. He knows that water is cool, and clammy, and mats the fur of his feet when he steps into the dampness of the cave, but... he doesn't, as well. He knows there are things like lakes and seas and oceans with rain, and that there will be songs that drift over them to hear. But he's never seen one, never felt one, only seen them in the reflection of stained glass."
(Ralsei finds Kris on the outskirts of Castle Town.)

Summary
"As for Susie Glitter- well, life had been busy! She loved the work, of course, but there really was a lot more of it during this season than any other time. And, oh, this year's celebration certainly added on to the hustle- it was a ball! A Victorian-styled ball to celebrate the end of the war and the beginning of a new age for Victoria. She hadn't kept fully abreast of it all, seeing as she technically didn't live in Victoria anymore, but Susie's just oh-so-glad the terror of the war was finally over. And the ball, oh..."
(Ever since she was a child listening to fairy tales, Goldenglow's always dreamed of Ballroom dances. And now, with the war at an end and a Ball to celebrate, her thoughts turn to the one friend who wasn't at Rhodes Island to celebrate with her...)

Summary
A crown taken up once more, a people united in war.
One ailing empire pitted against another while the world watches on, eager.
A small pharmacutical company at the center of it all.But this is a story about those who do not know the grand chessboard, those who are just the pawns pitted against one another. A small tale of replacement Bombardier Orianna Leepu, her headstrong sergeant, Shae Thera, and their long, sordid careers with the Crownsguard Dragoons Regiment; Steel Cavaliers Battalion, as they march to a glorious victory.
Onward in Her name, then back towards Her light.
For Victoria is their home, for weal or woe.Series
