Summary
If you had told Yuma two months ago that he and Taki would be glued at the hip, he’d probably refuse to believe it. A deeper part of him would’ve jumped in excitement, demanding details. Either way, it was true — they had a teammate relationship that many envied.
It shouldn’t have been a surprise, then, when they started interviews, that people would become infatuated with them. That Yuma, and all of his walls and grievances, would become a little infatuated too.
Takayama Riki has always looked up to Nakakita Yuma; only a year older than him, but miles out of his league. When the two of them become teammates, Taki doesn't expect them to click instantly the way they do. He also doesn't anticipate falling head over heels in love with Yuma — but he guesses it's all just part of the ride.

“Do you see that, Taki?” Harua whispered conspiratorially.
Taki followed his gaze, nonplussed, to where Yudai and Fuma were talking. His mama seemed to be having a good time, laughing at some joke the other man had made.
“My papa… and your mama…” Harua said meaningfully, eyes wide, but Taki still didn’t understand what he was trying to say.
“Yeah,” Taki said, clueless. “They seem to be friends.”
Harua sighed, annoyed, before shaking his head. “But what if they can be more than friends?” he asked in a whisper so low Taki barely heard him. “They could get married! And we…” Harua grinned. “We would become brothers.”
Taki’s eyes lit up. He’d never had a brother before, and being brothers with Harua would be so cool. “We’d be like twins,” he said gleefully. “Y’know, ‘cause our birthdays are so close?”
Harua nodded, his smile full of mischief. “But for that…” he said, turning towards their parents again. “We need to make them fall in love.”
