Summary

Summary
Nine years ago, the entire Addams family was brutally murdered by an angry mob of hit-men before the mansion was burned to the ground. Nine years ago Enid Sinclair lost her best friend. Nine years ago, Wednesday, Pubert and Lurch Addams died and Wilma, Philiburt and Lance Adler came into existence.
In the present day, Special Agent Enid Sinclair of the FBI has dedicated her whole career to finding the perpetrators of the Addams Genocide, desperate to make them pay. She has a list of names but those names have started dropping like flies. There’s a new player in town and Enid has to find out who they are before any chance at retribution is out of her grasp.
A prequel of sorts.

As much as I loved the finale it did not have to be like that. So heres my fix it...
Robin feels Steve’s hand in hers, realises there are tears in his eyes.
‘Come on, kid. Just step forward. It doesn’t have to be like this, step forward.’And if in slow motion, as if El can hear him, she does. One foot, then the other, and she’s out.
Vickie leans into Robin’s hand, her own grip around Robin’s waist slackening so she can slip a thumb under her shirt and rub a circle on Robin’s hip.
They're safe. They're all, finally, safe.

The client hadn’t really requested anything at all; their emails had been almost overly polite, if not jarringly formal, and had selected only the most vanilla options on the questionnaire she provided. Certainly a far cry from the standard practices of her usual clientele, but this one had paid upfront and picked this expensive hotel, and Mira’s fees are dear enough on their own that she had been coloured intrigued.
Mira takes a left down the hallway after leaving the elevator and finds herself at the door to the room. She doesn’t steel herself—doesn’t need to. She can handle anything. Has handled most things. Mira swipes the keycard and lets herself in.
The person sitting on the bed is probably the last thing she expects.
In which Mira is a professional, Rumi is socially inept, and Zoey is also there. Let's hope nobody catches feelings.
