Summary
“You…uh…” Whatever he was going to ask died in his throat as Alastor turned his head to nuzzle his palm.
Lucifer’s brain may have short circuited at that while other parts of him abruptly came online.
Alastor blinked, some of the newfound haziness leaving his eyes as he turned back to face him. He continued to lean into his touch. “You were saying?”
Oh, fuck, how had Lucifer never noticed how hot his voice was before?
“Uh…”
Husk started making frantic shooing motions too from where he stood by the doors.
“…you wanna see my rubber duck collection..?”
Alastor blinked. “What.”
Angel dropped his head back into his hands in defeat.

Alastor's rut comes earlier than expected. Lucifer volunteers as tribute. An awkward few days and one existential crisis later, Lucifer might just realize his budding feelings aren't as one-sided as he thought.

Summary
In hell, your life and death determine what demon you'll be. Some are animal-like in appearance, others have a more eldritch look. Depending on what type of demon you are, different instincts and behaviors will affect you.
Some behaviors are common, like mating seasons and shedding. Others are extremely rare; like mentally regressing to a younger age. Some sinners say it is because of extreme childhood trauma, some think it is a curse to people that have taken a child's life.
Alastor doesn't know why it happens, he just knows that he is a "Little”. And he managed to keep it a secret for 90 or so years.
Until the fight with Adam.OR:
Lucifer accidentally discovers Alastor is a Little after the battle, finding him injured and scared.
He decides he can't just stand by and let the poor kid be on his own, and takes him under all 6 of his wings, wether he likes it or not.- Language:
