Summary
Itachi had done many things he wasn't proud of. No matter how one might try to justify it, he had undeniably committed unforgivable crimes for what he believed to be the greater good. To make matters even worse, despite his best efforts, his actions hadn't ended up in Sasuke's favour at all, causing him only even more pain instead. The one thing he could confidently say he had done right was stopping the Edo Tensei and showing Sasuke the whole truth, but that didn't make up for a lifetime of mistakes.
With that in mind, waking up as a child nearly twenty years in the past was understandably a shock. After all, weren't there others who deserved a second chance more than he did? People who could do more good than him?
It was he who had ultimately been granted this opportunity, however, so it was up to him to seize it and create a better future. One in which his clan didn't have to die, Madara would be stopped, and, most importantly of all, Sasuke could be happy.
Itachi was going to make sure of it.

Summary
When Nat's hunt ends in injury, anger, and a lack of sustenance, she's forced to trudge home with a bleeding leg and a bruised ego. Nobody on the Yellowjackets is brave enough to face the maelstrom called Nat as she storms into the cabin. Nobody besides Jackie Taylor of course, the only person that Nat doesn't absolutely loathe.

“Jeez, you’re so old,” Nat says, "You're basically one foot in the grave."
“That’s a shame,” She sighs dramatically. Nat catches the way she shivers, a small thing that would’ve gone right by her had she not been looking. “I just sucked someone out of all their blood. I thought, maybe, it’d give me a few years of youth.”
“Sheesh, it totally didn’t work, Lotts,” She fumbles around behind her for her leather jacket, holding it in her hands as she watches the casual way Lottie holds the cigarette away from her face. “Wait– should I be, like, offering you my blood or something? ‘Cause, you know, I’m strictly against that vampire shit, as a self-proclaimed Vampire Hunter. I should be staking you, right now.”
Lottie turns her head to face her, resting her cheek against the heel of her hand that holds the cigarette. She’s a real sight to behold like this, smoke wafting in the air, a small smile on her lips and the moonlight seemingly inside her entire being. “So why aren’t you, then?” She implores, leaning forward slightly, her canine snagging on the edge of her lip.
