    In a world where all celestial bodies live, Hal Jordan is a young planetoid that finds himself very much alone. His family has vanished, taken by some strange plague, and so he wanders the stars looking for others like him. Finally, after ages of silence and loneliness, he stumbles upon Barry Allen, a young sun at the centre of a solar system, who is also alone. As Barry tries to get closer to this brilliant star, he realises that he might have to risk everything, even his life, to make this work. Will he succeed? Or will he find himself alone once more?
