When Gon was younger he spent a lot of time in bed sick. He could barely move and his body was so weak from the fever taking over his body. As he lay there trapped in his bed he would see a weird woman staring at him. She had no form, she was more a shadow with eyes that were a lovely shade of green and a large crook grin that would been creepy if it wasn’t radiating kindness. And love.

"Vi," says Mother a little louder than usual because of the downpour outside. "Where are you from?"
"The sea," says Vi in between bites of porridge. "I've always wanted to see what it's like up here on the top side. There are so many stories. You really walk on feet. Feet are so cool."
Caitlyn looks at her own feet. She's never once thought they were cool, but she supposes she will miss them if she no longer has them. That makes sense.
