Marco Bodt has to become a soldier to protect the people of the walls. He needs to show his hero’s sacrifice wasn’t for nothing, even if the only person he can prove himself to detests him from the bottom of their heart. This unexpected link between a soldier graduating from the top of their class and another from the bottom causes a shift in fate. Summary
A bright, glowing green lightsaber cuts through the door of Grian's cell. Buzzing as it goes, the metal metals like it’s nothing, arcing in a circle just big enough for a person to fit through. It looks straight out of an action holo. The cut-out part of the door pushes through and crashes onto the floor near Grian’s feet.
A head of tousled brown hair leans into the cell. Eyes as green as the lightsaber meet Grian’s. The man’s face breaks into a knowing, roguish grin.
“I’m Scar Goodtimes,” he says with a flash of his teeth. “We’re here to rescue you.”

Performance Issues, HotGuy?
By GrianIn recent weeks, HotGuy has been leaving much to be desired on the battlefield. It seems after many long, hard fights, he just can’t keep it up. He used to be quite anal about his victories, but now he’s had a few close calls. Could it be that his arrows just aren’t what they used to be? Is he firing blanks? I wouldn’t be surprised if his enemies are having to fake their defeat. Of course, HotGuy is far from the only man who struggles to hit the target, so maybe I shouldn’t be so harsh.
Three of HotGuy’s record fights for injuries and collateral damage have all occurred this month, an alarming statistic in the face of the continued attacks. The root of the issue may be difficult to swallow…Series

He gives a slight nod, and Scar practically lights up like a Christmas tree. He bridges the distance, pulling Grian into his arms. “Hi, pretty bird.”
Huffing at him with fondness, Grian returns his embrace, snuggling contently into his arms. He leans up to press a kiss to the underside of his jaw, trilling softly. The sound startles him initially; still getting used to the bird noises. “What’s with the sudden visit?” he questions, curious.
He hears Scar’s chuckle close to his ear, feeling the way his chest rumbles with the sound. “Can’t a man come see his husband on this perfectly amayzin’ sunny day?” Scar returns, pulling back from his embrace to look at Grian.
Looking at his husband of five years, Grian playfully huffs, rolling his eyes. “He can if he promises not to distract said husband.”
