Alucard laughed outright then, the sound deep and tinged with a strange, melodious tone. He turned to face you, leaning back against the work table. “How delightful. What is your name, little librarian?”
You gave it to him and he hummed, his eyes narrowing in satisfaction. He repeated it, drawing out the syllables on his tongue, as if he was tasting it. A shiver tried to roll through your body, but you suppressed it.
Alucard smiled at you. “It seems I’ve discovered more than just knowledge in this library, my dear.”

Alucard hummed, eyeing the blood splattered on the floors and wall. “I can see that you did - how considerate of you, priest.”
Anderson gave a snort. “Considerate? You speak as if I did this for you. Destroying the evil that plagues God’s Earth is my sworn duty, vampire. And speaking of—“ Bayonets dropped into his hands and he crossed them, sparks flying as steel screeched upon steel, the sound grating and unpleasant. Anderson grinned from behind his bayonets, his eyes wide and feral. “There’s still you to contend with.”

Summary
His eyes never strayed from Anderson. He didn’t so much as blink. While Alucard's face was absent of expression, there was something still present in his eyes. Something malevolent in the ethereal glow of his irises, something primeval, and Anderson’s nerves prickled with the thought of what exactly was left once everything that made Alucard Alucard was taken away.
Alucard and Anderson have an extremely bad month, courtesy of an Iscariot defector, and somehow being in each others company manages to be the best part of it.

In touching an activated relic during a fight, Anderson is suddenly yanked into a vision of what seems to be Alucard's past. Unfortunately, while Alucard is there as well, he doesn't seem to remember anything past the 15th century, so Anderson is forced to somehow convince the vampire of who he is. Over, and over, and over again…
