Death had just appeared where he felt a life was soon to be lost, quickly spotting an orange cat he’d seen once before, now surrounded by angry dogs at a card table. He rolled his eyes like he usually did when cats were involved, and was about to head on out, as he knew there were another seven lives to go before he was actually needed, but the next words stopped him dead in his tracks.
“I do not fear death.” The cat proclaimed with a confident smirk.
Death felt his heart beat for the first time.

Cotl Office AU
Goatfrey is an experienced, let's say... 'recruiter' but when their own pyramid scheme collapses they are invited to join a new, suspicious and terrifyingly successful pyramid.
Thankfully, they are placed on one of the highest levels that actually gets money, except they have to share the office with a anarchist nutcase of a sales worm, a frog for the designated office bully and Karen, a squid for a snitching rat and bootlicker, and a helpful but no longer exactly sane spider.
Not to mention they have no idea who their higher ups are, except for the fact that some strange sheep runs the whole operation. As for who exactly was at the very top, no one really knew.
Also, their new workplace might be a little bit of a cult. Not that they minded it honestly.

His change in demeanor shakes the Lamb. He isn’t the savior they once naively deified, but perhaps he isn’t the heartless, power hungry monster they had to conquer. And maybe he will realize the same of them.
