Summary
Robert Robertson lll has always been told to live up to his family legacy, that it was his job to do so. To pay back all that was given to him.
When he fucks up and gets himself blasted onto his ass, he's faced with the fact he failed the only thing he was raised to do. He's less than willing to wake up in the mornings whenever a blonde hero comes to aid him, giving him a chance to do the one thing he thinks himself good at.
Unfortunately, to get to that he has to work with a bunch of villains who are more than childish. feeling the gray hairs coming from a mile away, he takes it with stride and is determined to help this group of fuck-ups. HIS fuck-ups.

Mecha Man's Time Travel Contingency Plan by LadyLightning17

Summary
After everything with Shroud, Robert decides to adopt the Z-Team. To a Mecha Man, this means forcing them to memorize contingency plans and codes in case of emergency. The Z-Team understands this is a sign of affection, but it's also really, really annoying. Especially when they actually have to use one of the plans.
Robbie Robertson hates everything about these weird heroes from the future. They're chaotic, loud, and have absolutely no sense of decorum. Even worse, the only person they'll listen to is his eight-year-old son.

Summary
When a child that looks oddly similar to the Z-Team's dispatcher- nearly attached to the back of Chase's leg and guarding himself from prying eyes- is introduced to the team as a deaged version of Robert, chaos expectedly ensues.
If not the jokes, the endless teasing and chiding, the Z-Team also learn some...despairing things from the child form of their dispatcher.

It’s Broke and You Can’t Fix it (alone) by MischiefIsAnxious

Summary
Robert climbs out of the smoldering wreckage of his father’s legacy only to find that he's no longer needed. Mecha Man is, of course. But Robert Robertson? Ha. No.
So he tries to piece his life back together, however hopeless a cause it may be. But then it's time to announce his--hm, not retirement. Convalescence? Close enough--and it goes just a little too well. Chase never calls in the favor with Blazer so Robert never gets the job at SDN. Purposeless, he lets himself backslide. Forces himself to focus on the suit and only the suit because it's the only way he'll ever let himself live again (as if Mecha Man was much of a life beforehand).
Then a couple assholes bust down his door because the neighbors called for a wellness check and now Robert's plans of dying in a landslide of pizza boxes will have to be put on pause.
TLDR: Z-Team fixes Robert instead. (Albeit with a boat load of fuck ups along the way.)
