    Danny is on the run after escaping from a GIW facility where their scientists and his parents had been experimenting on him. Now on the run from the government and his family alike, he leaves Amity and his friends behind for their safety and his. Some years after being on the run, never staying in one place for long, he finds himself in Gotham, where he eventually reconnects with the Batfamily...except, they have no idea who he is. Danny knows them of course, but not in this time. Having been sent to the future and returned, he's not sure how to interact with these people he's met, but never known.

    Please note that this fic does NOT start directly with the original prompt. There is a lot of plot that happens before and after, so its really its own beast of a story. See ch 1 summary for details

    The Joker, bless his egotistical heart, loved it. “Ah, my adoring fans!” he crowed. “Such dedication to my aesthetic! Truly, I’m touched—”

    Paulina cut him off with a scream of rage. “I JUST GOT THESE NAILS DONE!”

    The Joker never stood a chance.

    What followed was nothing short of a massacre.

    After being torn from his universe, Peter Parker awakens in Gotham City—de-aged, disoriented, and pulled from the depths of the Lazarus Pit by none other than the Joker.

    Sensing an opportunity to unnerve Batman in an entirely new way, the Joker claims the mysterious scentless child as his “son” and molds him into a reluctant sidekick called Prank. Over six long years, Peter is forced into the role of a villain, his identity and memories slowly eroded by fear, manipulation, and relentless abuse.

    To the Batfamily, Prank is nothing more than another unpredictable threat and a dangerous extension of the Joker’s madness.

    Until one encounter reveals the truth. Prank isn’t a miniature psychopath at all, but a broken, terrified twelve-year-old who never wanted to hurt anyone.

    And when Bruce Wayne’s protective omega instincts sense this fact, the Batfamily realizes they aren’t facing a new enemy.

    There's no way Shelley could be uninfected after drowning Kent. Max knows this.
