Frowning, Shouta shook his head, still pretending to be absorbed in his phone, “We always go to the same cat cafe and the same arcade. I was thinking maybe we could do something different? I’ll pick you up at 9 am?” He finally looked away from his phone and toward the window, a light dusting of a blush across his cheeks.
Hizashi perked up a bit more, intrigued, “Consider it a date then!”
Hizashi swore he saw his friend’s cheeks darken, but he shook his head at himself. It was just wishful thinking, nothing more. Just because he had a massive crush on his best friend didn’t mean that Shouta felt the same way.

Summary
Aizawa Shouta has it all, a pack that he lives with in the teacher's dorm of UA, he has his pups, Eri, Rei and he has his new mate Yamada Hizashi. So why is he standing in the hospital room of his old best friend Oboro Shirakumo listening to him talk about his dead pup? Why does he listen to him talk about the monster who made him cut off his own leg? Why does he have nightmares every night about Shigaraki, the USJ incident and Bakugou dying? Therapy should tell him the right answer, if he goes but he's busy being a parent and a teacher. He just hopes he'll figure it all out eventually.
Takes place immediately after A Pearl.

Donnie has everything perfectly under control. Sure, sometimes he hears the voices of those who aren't there, and sometimes he's not in control of his own body- but those are easy fixes. He's fine, dare he say even better than fine! He's so fine that he even constructed a portal to other dimensions in case the Krang come back! It's not like he worked endlessly, almost obsessively, over the portal for days, missing sleep and family trying to talk to him.
He's fine!
He's even fine when the portal swallows him whole and spits him out into a new universe with nothing but his battle shell and clocking broach.
One with alternate versions of him and his brothers, just starting out and fighting their own version of Kraang and bad guys. He's even fine when he gets dragged into their upcoming battles and fights. He's going to get home anyway; what's the harm in helping out his alternate family fight against Kraang?

Arthur knows he's dying, can feel the unstoppable pull of it, feels the spirit appear behind him to take him along. And yet, he finds he does not want to die. There is so much that went wrong, so much he regrets and he wishes, with all his being, he could change it. Could at least ensure those that managed to get away really make it out alive.
A second chance, he asks, begs, really. Just give me the chance to save them.
The being behind him pauses and Arthur can't look away from the moment he's frozen in, staring at the dark mountainside, aching to see the sun rise just one more time.
One chance, the spirit seems to whisper, voice satin soft. Make the most of it.

Donnie laughs.
Casey isn't really funny as much as sometimes he says things that are so crude, there is really no other way to react. It drove Donnie crazy a few years back, in that way most things his friend said or did used to.
His brothers used to tease him for it, and looking back, Donnie can't say he blames them. Sometimes, it really seemed like Casey occupied more of his thoughts than even April.
