Prepare for trouble because Team Rocket will be sick! And make it double, cos this fic’s a whole month thick! … That’s a massive stretch but I’m running with it. But yes, introducing my challenge for Sicktember 2025: a short hurt/comfort sickfic for every day of September! Starring your (probably) favourite Team Rocket members: Jessie, James, Meowth, Cassidy, and Butch. With a few appearances by other TR members, like Wendy or Mondo, sprinkled throughout.
It’s going to be a whole month of ravaging fevers, occasional nausea, and more colds than most people catch in their lifetime. Featuring: fainting, puking, dizziness, headaches, and a very copious amount of gross sneezing. Everyone’s going to suffer (especially Butch, let’s be honest here), and that’s why we’re here. So prepare for tro- I mean, Sicktember 2025: Team Rocket Edition!
Inspired mostly by KilgoreOnTralfamadore’s Legend of Zelda sickfic collection they wrote for this year’s Feveruary. Full credit for inspiring me to not only make this, but make it in the way that I did.

“I don’t skate,” Jax said with a purposeful air of indifference. “It’s unbefitting of my masculine persona.”
Pomni snorted.
“Don’t or can’t?”
“Third option: won’t!”
He punctuated his sentence with a light flick to the jester's forehead.
“Alright.”
She sighed dramatically, throwing her hands, and the skates, in the air in defeat. She started skating towards the rink entrance and called back towards the booth.
“I guess I’ll just go skate with Ragatha and Kinger then, have fun moping!”
Jax’s ear twitched in annoyance. Before his brain could catch up with him, he’d already bolted out of his seat and snatched the roller skates from Pomni’s raised hand.
“Fine! If you insist.”

Summary
Serena was a traveling with her twin brother, Timothy, when their ship was hit by a storm. Serena was washed ashore in the Kanto region, but Timothy appeared to have perished. In order to make a living, Serena disguised herself as a man, taking Timothy's name, to work for the ruler of Kanto, Duke Satoshi Ketchum. Serena is in love with Satoshi, but Satoshi is head over heels for Countess Sonia Magnolia. He sends Serena to woo Sonia on his behalf not knowing his page is a woman in love with him in disguise. What follows is a tale of chaos, pranks, confusion, deception, and love.
