Robert catches his reflection in the broken windshield of a nearby car as he leans his head against the new armour plating on BLUE's arm, aware of the blood from the surface headwound on his temple dirtying it. Cringing at the headache that's still thumping to his cardiac rhythm that has just been exacerbated by an injury hitting cold hard metal, he tries to take stock. He looks half feral, blood running down his temple, his nose and mixed into the general spittle on his teeth mixed in with all the grime and bruises he's been collecting for the past... eighteen or so hours. He thinks his work shirt might also be a bit ripped up, which is really unfortunate since Robert only has two of them and given the Red Ring just tried to burn Torrance down he doesn't think the laundromat down the street is going to be open in the near future.
"So... this is Blue?"

Knuckleheaded and unpredictable: two words everyone always used to describe Uzumaki Naruto. Traveling back in time to save the world from his hellscape of a future proved those words fitting.
Naruto lost everyone he’d ever loved and didn’t think he could feel anything beyond the desire to complete his mission. He didn’t expect this new (old) Konoha, with new friends wearing familiar faces from his decimated past. He didn’t expect to care so deeply about random jounin he’d barely known before. And, perhaps a tad ironically, he really didn’t expect Kakashi.

Summary
While hummingbirds can be devoted to their family, particularly their young, they are known to be both highly aggressive and anti-social. They are the only birds able to fly backwards and even upside down.
Tim's mission has never been the same as the rest of the Bats. He knows he doesn't fight for justice, or peace, or control, or proving something. He doesn't have Dick's goodwill or Damians need to prove something. He doesn't have Jason's connection or Oracle's duty. Hell, he doesn't even have Bruce's own mission in mind when he fights. He fights because he protects what is his, and he has dug his claws into this family. Except, maybe he's not theirs anymore, maybe he never was.
Or: Tim realizes he's lost everything he has never had, then gets sucked 20 years into the past by the creepy old guy and decides to pull everything together, including himelf.

Ra's stole Tim's spleen and threw him out a window, so Tim retaliated by stealing every single asset in the league's possession and then blowing every major League of Shadow base in the world to smithereens, as one does.

And Danny? He's just wondering who this death-kissed, almost-halfa man is that he keeps seeing around Gotham!
Jason wonders much the same about the obviously-lazarus pit survivor that is Danny Janus Nightingale.

Summary
Danny's death was something he had no choice but to think about.
Having a portal to the afterlife open on top of you at age 14, both killing you and bringing you back to life was hard to ignore. He died and came back weird, with a pounding headache and an ache in his chest.
After getting caught by his parents and getting cut open the summer before college, Danny flees to Gotham.
No idea of what or who is waiting for him there. Or what will follow him to Gotham.
Jason was 15 and running around as the second Robin. His death was on the same day that a portal in an Amity Park basement opened, killed by being beaten by the Joker and left to die in an explosion. He came back 6 months later, mindless and wrong.
Later, he'd get back his mind, but the pits still swirled in his chest.
Now the Red Hood at 19, Jason feels like something's coming, something dangerous.
The pits shift at the thought.
